PACO ROMERO

Primitive Ceramic & Paintings

Lives and works from Galilea, Mallorca (Balearic Islands, Spain)

Paco Romero's dialogue with art is primitive. He works manually, without a wheel, using tools he finds in nature, such as stones, pebbles, and driftwood, shaping each piece to embody its own character and personality. From this primal exploration emerges his implementation on canvas, bridging the primitive aesthetics of ceramics with painting. His work represents a return to origin, to the first inhabitants, and to the impact that the passage of time has on objects and people.
